Calculator app alternatives

The apps people leave are usually good ones. Soulver, Numi and SpeedCrunch each do something better than most calculators, and Apple Math Notes is built into every recent iPhone and Mac. People look elsewhere when the app stops where their work keeps going: a Windows laptop, an Android phone, a browser, or a second device that should show the same numbers.

These guides list the realistic options for each case, with platforms and prices checked against the official sites. Notes Calculator is one of the options, and we build it, so each page also says where another app is the better fit. For a feature-by-feature table against one app, see the comparisons.
